Memòria Viva is a space to share the past of Barcelona through a collective processes of cultural creation. These processes are places of meeting, dialogue and organization around memory and its incorporation into the public sphere.

This project was presented at an event in November 2021 in Barcelona. Those attending the event were given a fold-out poster with an illustration showing the project's areas of action and an infographic map of Barcelona with its different main lines.

Memory communities are groups of people who produce stories and representations about past events and meet to keep this memory alive. In this way, Memòria Viva proposes to explore all the possibilities of interlocked memory and cultural practices with public space and neighborhoods, in an open processes of creation, relationship and communal organization.
